I learned that the camera cant run long in cold conditions and give it a chance to adjust to the temperature so it doesn't fog the lens. Also clear plastic bag can help keep condensation off of the camera and on the bag.

I like the tip about the phone somthings telling me he had some experiance.
I also like the tip about how to get more detail out of the bright white snow exposure.

Why does the camera not last as long if its cold?

I learned that they used puppets to help make the animated versions and I also learned that they used those puppets to help interact with the actors and that they used the monkey from the hangover to get better expressions.

I like how they tried to give it a classic feel by filming on a stage.
They put unique techniques into the movie like the puppet and the monkey along with the way they filmed.

Did the actors also work with the monkey for  their performance?

blog 18 post 1

this week I learned how to make the "camera" zoom in and out better in flash.

what made me happy this week is that I made it to the final stretch of this year.
What fustrated me this week is that I just finished the mouth shapes for lip sync project.

What I want to learn is how to draw better humanoid characters.

This song was stuck in my head for days http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN7dYDYfvVg&feature=player_detailpage.

I learned how Pixar uses physics and math to keep their animations real. I also learned that they had to create a separate engine to animate the hair in the movie Brave.

I think its crazy that if they change a character they have to rewrite the physics from scratch.

I also think its amazing how they said to use mathematics to quickly form believable parabolas to a charater shape.

Is there anymore involved math that goes into creating animations.

From the article I learned how to be better in front of a camera. You want to be entertaining but not so energetic that its annoying. Having clear video and audio help keep viewers watching. Also have enough light so you are visible.

I think most of the tips are common knowledge.
I think the way to get a video viral is to make it be something of interest at the time and add some twists timing is key.

How do people make a living making youtube videos it cant pay that much?

This week I relearned how to use flash.

What made me happy this week is I'm almost done with my audio project.

What frustrated me this week is I most likely would have finished it Friday.

What I want to learn is how to lip sync.

this video helped me understand a little more about how https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=eqQIZLn_zng

I learned that workers are being constantly exploited in other countries and that many have to go along with ridiculous policies and agreements.

I think businesses should just give decent hours and pay sure you make a little less but their making millions anyway.

I think its wrong for the businesses to do things like this to workers its unfair and they get rich off of your hard work.

Why would so many workers put up with these things if you could get a better job or do somthing else?

I learned that many visual effect studios are starting to go bankrupt. That because foreign subsidies were often better to work with and they violate international trade agreements.

I think its sad many studios are going down because of this not to mention it has agreement violations.
I could also see the other side with trying to make the best film possible in the cheapest way and the most benificial.

what happens when all the effect companies become bankrupt?

This week I learned nothing new

What frustrated me this week was trying to match audio with animation.
What made me happy this week is I got a head start on the abstract audio project.

What I want to learn is a easy way to sync audio.

This is a great stopmotion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSzCLf8tjP4&feature=player_detailpage

I learned to use real life problems and emotions. Make the audience believe it is real and focus on movements if its unnatural don't use it.

I think the tips are good but they were pretty much the same as most given tips

When do they use their own tips?

I learned Serkis started his own studio for motion capture. Motion capture is also becoming more used and might be the next generation for film making.

I think it is a good way to make movies instead of the low emotion 3D characters.
The only problem I see with a smaller work force is less people have jobs and those working may have more response ability.

How is this technology only starting to be more used? its cool and looks real.

This week I learned how to hide objects when they don't need to be shown in render.

What made me happy this week is that I just need to add sound to my project.
What frustrated me this week was finding just the right sounds.

What I want to learn is how to sync sounds to move ments better

This video was interesting I know theres a lot of work put into animation but this is just a taste of what they did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZJLtujW6FY&feature=player_detailpage
